Web design in Vancouver: what you get
01Web design in Vancouver: what you get
Every Vancouver website we make is designed in WordPress from a blank plan, starting with the phone layout because that is where most first visits happen. The pages are ordered around the questions your customers ask, with a call, booking or enquiry button that stays easy to reach. Underneath, the site is built to load quickly and to be read cleanly by search engines.
You are the owner from the first day it is live, with the domain and content registered to you rather than to us. Since 2011 our team has delivered over 2,700 websites and more than 400k pages, and Google shows us rated Excellent, backed by more than 100 positive reviews from clients.
- Custom WordPress, phone first
- Booking or contact up top
- Domain in your name
Local SEO and Google Maps in Vancouver
02Local SEO and Google Maps in Vancouver
In a city this dense, the map results often decide who gets the visit. We set up or tidy your Google Business Profile, choose its categories carefully, and make sure your name, address and phone match everywhere they appear. The website then backs up the listing with pages that name your neighbourhood and describe each service in the words customers use.
Ahead of any design, we run a free SEO audit that lists what is holding it back, from slow pages to missing titles. If your customers come from a few districts, such as Kitsilano and the West End, we write proper pages for the areas that matter instead of thin copies of one another.
- Neighbourhood-level map work
- Consistent business details
- Free SEO audit included
How much a website costs in Vancouver
03How much a website costs in Vancouver
Vancouver is an expensive city, but our rates do not change with the postal code. A Startup site of one or two pages is $399. Silver covers four or five pages at $1,249, and adding a cart turns it into Silver eCommerce at $1,490. Silver+ runs eight to ten pages at $1,849, and Corporate reaches 25 pages with a store at $3,490.
Most small firms here land on Silver or Silver+, depending on how many services deserve a page of their own. Extra features, such as a booking system or a members area, are priced separately in writing before we start. A month of support after launch is included, and care plans begin at $69 per month.
- Startup at $399
- Silver $1,249, store $1,490
- Silver+ $1,849, Corporate $3,490
How long it takes and how we work
04How long it takes and how we work
We begin with a call by phone or video, set inside your Pacific working hours since Calgary is an hour ahead. Two Trees has a Vancouver office alongside its Calgary head office, and either way the process is the same: we listen first, then send the page list, features, timeline and fixed price in writing.
Drafts arrive on a private link that opens on any device and can be passed to partners for comment. Most of the schedule depends on how quickly text and photos come together, so we agree on who supplies what at the very start. If a launch date is tied to an opening or a season, we plan backwards from it.
- Phone or video kickoff
- Written scope and price
- Drafts on a private link

Food and hospitality are everywhere here, from Gastown dining rooms to coffee bars on Main Street, and they need menus, hours and reservations that staff can update in minutes. Film and television production supports rental houses, post-production studios and crew services, which sell on reels, credits and equipment lists far more than on a map.
Then there are the clinics, law offices, accountants and design practices filling the towers downtown and along Broadway. Their visitors want to know who they will deal with, what the process looks like and how to book a first meeting. We plan each of these site types differently, because their customers decide differently.
- Restaurants and cafés
- Studios and production services
- Clinics and professional firms

Vancouver neighbourhoods we build websites for
People here often search by neighbourhood rather than by city. If your clinic, studio or shop draws mostly from a few nearby areas, your pages should mention them by name and explain how to get to you.

FAQ
Web design in Vancouver: common questions
Questions Vancouver business owners ask us before a project. Tap one to see our answer.
Do you have an office in Vancouver?
Yes. Our head office is in Calgary, where the company started in 2011, and we also have a Vancouver office. Most Vancouver projects are run through phone and video calls, with drafts shared on a private link. That keeps meetings short and lets you look over the site at whatever hour suits your schedule.
What will a Vancouver website cost?
Exactly what it costs in any other city, because the price list is public. The smallest Startup package is $399 for a page or two, Silver with four or five pages is $1,249, and Silver+ with eight to ten pages is $1,849. Stores begin at $1,490. You get the fixed figure in writing before any work begins.
Can you redesign a site that already ranks on Google?
Yes, carefully. Before the build we run a free SEO audit and record which pages bring in visitors. The new site keeps those addresses or redirects them properly, so search engines carry the history over instead of starting from nothing. Positions can shift for a few weeks after any relaunch, and we plan around that.
Do you build sites for restaurants and cafés?
Often. A restaurant site needs a menu that staff can change without help, hours that match Google, a reservation or ordering link and honest photos of the room and the food. We keep the pages light so they open quickly on mobile data, because many diners check while they are already out walking.
Who holds the rights to the finished site?
You do. The domain, the WordPress files, the written content and the photos belong to your business. If you ever switch developers or hosts, everything goes with you. Plenty of clients keep us on a care plan from $69 a month for updates and backups, but that is a choice, never a condition.
