01Servers tuned for WordPress
Monthly plans
A care plan covers the website itself, with updates, scans, backups and support hours each month.
Monthly price in Canadian dollars, plus applicable tax; monitoring is part of all four plans. More about website maintenance.
Overview
Budget hosting is easy to sign up for and frustrating to rely on. You are handed a control panel and left alone with it, and when the site goes down, the support desk points at your plugins while your developer points at the server. Managed website hosting removes that back-and-forth. We create the account, shape the server settings to match the way your site works, add the SSL certificate and keep the technical settings sensible over time. You do not need to know which PHP version to choose, how caching should behave or what a DNS record is, because that part is handled for you.
The real benefit is a single point of contact. Our studio already designs, develops, maintains and fixes websites, so hosting them too means a slow page, an error message or a silent form lands with people able to inspect code and server side by side. Nothing gets lost between two companies. When the site needs more memory, an upgraded PHP release or a staging site to test changes safely, we arrange it as routine care. For WordPress, WooCommerce and custom PHP sites, the server can be tuned to that software instead of a generic one-size setup.
Hosting and maintenance do different jobs. Hosting keeps the machine underneath running and visitors able to reach you, whereas a care plan tends the website software itself. The $69 Basic plan layers on weekly patching, weekly malware scans, a monthly backup with no-charge restores and alerts when files change. If another provider holds your site today, moving it over can be part of the onboarding. Hosting is priced on request according to what each site actually requires, rather than a fixed tier packed with extras you will never touch. Every account is managed online, so where in the country your business operates makes no difference.
Benefits
Managed hosting configured and supported by the developers who build and maintain your website.
Memory limits, PHP release and caching all set to suit your site.
SSL installed and renewed so visitors see a secure connection.
A private copy of the site for testing changes before they go live.
Records set up so the website, email and other services resolve correctly.
Hosting problems looked at by people who also build and repair websites.
Existing sites moved across from your current host, at our published migration prices.
What's included
Details vary from one business to the next, yet each project covers the points listed here. Extras are quoted in writing before any work on them begins.
Who it suits
Owner-operators, expanding companies and established Canadian firms begin at the same point: understanding how their buyers look, compare and choose.
If nobody on the team is comfortable in a hosting dashboard, those choices become our job.
Hosting with the developers behind your site keeps launch, fixes and support under one roof.
Stores need servers tuned for carts, logins and busy checkouts, not a bare-bones package.
When a provider is sluggish or never answers, moving tends to be easier than tolerating it.
How it works
Platform, size, visitor numbers and email arrangements are reviewed so the configuration fits.
The hosting account, SSL and caching are set up before any files move.
A copy of your site is made on the new server and checked on a preview URL.
DNS is pointed at the new server, and ongoing server care begins.
Why us
Hosting has been part of our day-to-day work on client websites since 2011.
Server and website issues are handled by the same people, so problems do not bounce between companies.
Basic maintenance is $69 a month with 72-hour tickets; higher plans answer tickets within 48 hours.
Hosting is quoted to fit what your site uses, not a bundle of extras you will never touch.

With ordinary shared hosting you rent server space with a control panel, and the rest falls to you. Managed hosting adds people who configure the server for your site, keep its software current and deal with problems as they arise. The result for an owner is fewer technical decisions and one contact whenever something needs attention.
It depends on your setup. Plenty of companies run their email through Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 already. If that is your situation, we check the DNS records so messages keep reaching those inboxes. If you need mailboxes created or moved, mention it at the start so it is built into the scope and the price, rather than discovered halfway through.
Yes, if it runs on software we support: WordPress, WooCommerce or another PHP application. A quick review checks versions and any unusual requirements before the transfer. Sites made in closed builders such as Wix or Squarespace are a different case, because those platforms do not let you take the site elsewhere, so they would need to be rebuilt first.
Usually, yes. A well-run server does not stop an outdated plugin from being exploited. Hosting protects the environment; a maintenance plan protects the website itself. For $69 monthly, Basic adds weekly patching and malware scans, a monthly backup we restore free if needed and alerts when files change unexpectedly, with support tickets answered within 72 hours.
No. Your domain can remain where it is registered; only its DNS records change to point at the new server. Keeping the domain in an account you control is wise, because it protects your ownership. If it is registered under a former developer or agency, transferring it to your own account during the hosting move is a sensible step.
Growing sites, especially stores in peak seasons, can outstrip their memory, disk space or CPU. Since the server is ours to manage, we notice strain early and suggest an adjustment before visitors feel it. Any change that affects your cost is discussed and approved before it is made.
