Web design in Toronto: what you get
01Web design in Toronto: what you get
A Toronto customer can compare five firms in the time it takes to ride one TTC stop, so we build each page to answer a single question well. You get a custom WordPress theme designed for phones first, service pages with plain headings, a contact button that is easy to reach with a thumb, and pages that load fast on busy mobile networks.
Nothing is locked to us. The domain, the WordPress login, the text and the photos all belong to your business from launch day. Behind the work sits a team that has delivered more than 2,700 websites and over 400k pages in fifteen years, so a crowded market is familiar ground rather than a surprise.
- Custom WordPress, not a template
- One clear job per page
- Site, domain and content yours
Local SEO and Google Maps in Toronto
02Local SEO and Google Maps in Toronto
Toronto searches are often local down to the neighbourhood: a dentist in Leslieville, a caterer in Liberty Village, a mover in North York. We tune your Google Business Profile, match its categories and service list to the website, and keep your name, address and phone number identical wherever they appear, which helps Google trust where you actually operate.
Where you genuinely serve several parts of the city, such as Scarborough and Etobicoke, each one can get a real page with useful detail rather than a thin copy. Before any of this, we run a free SEO audit on your current site so the rebuild starts from what is actually holding it back.
- Area pages that earn their place
- Business Profile cleaned up
- Free SEO audit to start
How much a website costs in Toronto
03How much a website costs in Toronto
Toronto agencies often quote by the hour; we publish fixed packages in Canadian dollars instead. Startup is $399 for one or two pages, Silver is $1,249 for four or five, Silver eCommerce is $1,490 with a cart, Silver+ is $1,849 for eight to ten pages, and Corporate is $3,490 for up to 25 pages including an online store.
Because competition here rewards a separate page for each service, many Toronto firms land on Silver+. A care plan from $69 a month, with two hours of work on the Basic tier, can handle updates afterwards. The first month of support after launch costs nothing, and any extra feature is quoted in writing before it is built.
- Startup $399, one or two pages
- Silver+ $1,849 for 8–10 pages
- No big-city markup
How long it takes and how we work
04How long it takes and how we work
We start with a call by phone or video, booked for late morning or afternoon in Toronto since Calgary runs two hours behind. If you happen to be in Alberta, the Calgary office is open to visit too. After that call you get the page list, features, schedule and fixed price in writing.
Drafts are shared on a private link, so partners, managers or an outside adviser can open them on their own devices and leave comments. The schedule mostly depends on how quickly copy, photos and approvals come together. A small site moves fast; a firm with several decision makers should budget extra time for sign-off.
- Calls timed for Eastern hours
- Written scope and fixed price
- Drafts on a private link
Websites for Toronto industries
05Websites for Toronto industries
Downtown, Bay Street finance, law and consulting firms are judged on credibility first, so their sites need restraint, real biographies and well-organized practice areas. Toronto also has a serious software and startup community whose buyers notice a sloppy mobile layout immediately. For both, we keep the design calm, the pages quick and the claims modest.
Away from the towers, restaurants on Queen West, trades in Etobicoke and clinics in the Annex need something simpler: hours, prices, a map and a way to book. Toronto hears many languages every day, so plain wording and short forms make the site easier for everyone, including people reading in a second language.

FAQ
Web design in Toronto: common questions
Questions Toronto business owners ask us before a project. Tap one to see our answer.
Do you have an office in Toronto?
No. We opened in Calgary in 2011, and that is still our only office. Toronto clients work with us by video, phone and email, and most never need to meet face to face. You review drafts as working links on your own laptop or phone, and each comment you leave is tracked until it is resolved. If an in-person workshop is essential for your team, mention it early and we can weigh whether it makes sense.
How do you handle the time difference between Toronto and Calgary?
Calgary is two hours behind Toronto. In practice, we can book calls from late morning your time through to the end of your working day. Earlier meetings in Toronto are possible with a little notice. Because our day finishes after yours, feedback you send mid-afternoon can usually be picked up on our side before we close.
Why does a Toronto website cost the same as one elsewhere?
Because the work is the same. We do not charge extra because a client is in a big city, and we do not rent expensive downtown space that your project would have to pay for. Our packages run from Startup at $399 to Corporate at $3,490, and anything outside them is priced on request, in writing, before work begins.
Can you help us compete with large Toronto agencies on Google?
We can give you a technically sound site with focused pages and good local signals, which is what search engines reward. We cannot promise a ranking, and nobody honestly can. What we offer is a clear plan: which searches matter, which pages should target them, and how your Google Business Profile should describe the area you actually serve.
Do you work with Toronto startups?
Yes. Early-stage companies usually need a credible site quickly and cheaply, then something larger once they have funding or traction. A Startup or Silver site gets you live on a clean foundation, and because it runs on WordPress it can grow into a bigger site later without being thrown away. We can also build a separate landing page for a launch or campaign.

Share a short description of your company and goals. Our team replies with practical next steps and a fixed price in writing, with nothing to sign until you are ready.
