Overview
Launch day is the start of a website's life, not the end of the work. WordPress core, the theme and every plugin release updates throughout the year, often to close security holes, and a site left alone for a year or two becomes an easy target. Website maintenance plans take care of that upkeep so it never depends on someone remembering. They also set aside a fixed number of hours each month for the small jobs that pile up: a new staff photo, a revised price list, an extra page for a new service. For Canadian businesses without an in-house developer, a care plan is usually the simplest way to keep a site safe and current.
Our entry plan is Basic at $69 a month with 2 hours of support. Every week the software is updated and scanned for malware; every month a backup is taken, and restoring it costs nothing. File-change monitoring alerts us to unexpected edits, and Basic tickets get an answer within 72 hours. Businesses that need more time can step up to the PPC plan at $350 a month with 10 hours, Gold at $490 a month with 20 hours plus organic SEO work, or Unlimited at $1,500 a month with 50 hours. Tickets on those higher plans are answered within 48 hours, and the hours go toward edits, small features or troubleshooting.
Updates are applied with care rather than blindly. When a plugin release carries a risk of breaking something, we check the site afterwards and roll back if needed, using the copy taken beforehand. If a malware scan or file-change alert turns up something suspicious, we investigate before it spreads. We also take on maintenance for sites built by other companies, after a short review of how they are put together. All of this runs remotely, so a plan works the same in any province or territory.
What support covers
Care plans run through our client portal, so checks, fixes and reports all live in one place you can see.
We keep watch on the things that take a website down or put it at risk.
Antivirus and database scans, review of suspicious files, and login codes for WordPress.
Scheduled backups through the portal, plus backup tools on the website itself.
Recurring schedules, assignments, a history of completed work and internal notes.
Whole-site Deep Scans, Search Console evidence, rankings and the Page Planner.
Blog posts published to connected WordPress and supported PHP websites.
Monthly and custom reports with connected Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads and Google Business data.
What's included
Details vary from one business to the next, yet each project covers the points listed here. Extras are quoted in writing before any work on them begins.
Who it suits
Owner-operators, expanding companies and established Canadian firms begin at the same point: understanding how their buyers look, compare and choose.
When nobody internal handles the website, a plan makes sure updates and backups still happen.
WooCommerce shops handle orders and customer data, so a hacked or broken store costs money every hour it is down.
Restaurants, event venues and retailers with frequent updates use plan hours instead of paying per edit.
If the original developer is gone, the site needs a new caretaker, and a plan provides one.
How it works
We check the platform, plugins, hosting and any existing problems before taking it on.
You choose the plan whose monthly hours match the edits and attention your site needs.
Backups, malware scanning and file-change alerts are configured and tested.
Updates run weekly, backups monthly, and your requests are handled through tickets.
Why us
We have built and looked after business websites since 2011, so routine updates and odd failures are familiar ground.
Basic is $69 a month for 2 hours with 72-hour tickets; PPC, Gold and Unlimited offer 10, 20 and 50 hours with 48-hour tickets.
Monthly backups with free restoration are part of the Basic plan, not an add-on.
The people answering tickets are the same people who build sites, so fixes happen in the code.

FAQ
Short answers to what clients ask us most. Tap a question to see our answer.
Most website break-ins happen through outdated plugins or themes with known security flaws, not through attacks aimed at one business. Automated scanners hunt for those weaknesses on every site they can find, regardless of size. Keeping software current closes most of those openings. Updates also keep the site compatible with newer PHP versions on the server, which avoids sudden errors when a host upgrades.
Anything that fits within your plan hours: editing text, swapping images, adding a page, adjusting a form, fixing a layout glitch after an update or installing a plugin you need. Larger projects, such as a full redesign or a new online store, are quoted separately so they do not eat into your monthly hours. If you are unsure which category a job falls into, just ask.
If the site is hacked, broken by an update or damaged by an accidental change, we restore it from the most recent backup that predates the problem. Restoration from the monthly backup is free on the Basic plan. Afterwards we look at what caused the issue so it does not simply happen again, and let you know whether any content added since that backup needs to be re-entered.
Most of the sites we maintain run on WordPress or WooCommerce, along with custom PHP sites. Sites on hosted builders such as Wix or Squarespace are maintained by those companies at the platform level, so a care plan adds less value there. If you are unsure what your site runs on, we can tell you after a quick look at it.
Basic is $69 a month: 2 support hours, weekly updates, weekly malware scans, a monthly backup restored free when needed, and file-change monitoring. PPC is $350 a month for 10 hours, Gold is $490 a month for 20 hours with organic SEO included, and Unlimited is $1,500 a month for 50 hours. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and you can switch plans as your needs change.
Yes. First we review the site to see which platform, theme and plugins it uses, whether anything is badly out of date and whether there are signs of past problems. If the review finds issues that need fixing first, we explain them and quote that work, then move the site onto a regular care plan.
